VictoryII Star Destroyer

The Victory-II class Star Destroyer (VSD) is the successor model of the Victory-I class, and the predecessor of the Imperial class. It has the familiar wedge shape and elevated bridge section. In Imperial service, the VSD-II is primarily assigned to patrol, planetary defence or as the flagship of smaller reserve fleets deep in the Core. However, the ship was designed for planetary assault and ground troop support, planetary defence, and ship-to-ship combat.
The VSD-II's many weapons make it an excellent platform for orbital bombardment and planetary assault. It can also enter a planet's atmosphere. In space combat, the VSD has a slow sublight speed and low maneuverability, limiting its effectiveness, although it is faster than the VSD-I. It does support a hangar bay full of TIE Starfighters for projecting power over a larger distance.
