Interdictor Cruiser

The main feature of the Interdictor Cruiser is an artificial gravity well generator, used by the Galactic Empire to prevent ships from entering hyperspace or, alternatively, to pull ships out of hyperspace into realspace for ambush or customs inspection. The ship appears to have the same basic hull layout as a Star Destroyer, with four globular protrusions on its face. Each of the globes ("blisters") contains a single gravity well projector. The gravity well generators take about a minute to power up, leaving a window during which enemies can escape to hyperspace.
The Interdictor has two launch bays for TIE Starfighters, and is equipped with laser cannons for short-range combat.
