Carrack Light Cruiser

An older, reliable, and heavily armed light cruiser of the Imperial Navy, comparable to the Corellian Corvette. Generally, it is used in battle groups as a patrol vessel or as a support or escort ship for larger fleets. It is among the faster of the Imperial capital ships.
The cruiser is heavily armed for a ship its size, and also heavily armored. It has honeycombed bulkheads and an unusual compartmentalization system, increasing its resistance to hull damage. When one part of the ship is destroyed, it can be isolated and the rest of the ship can remain at full operation. The main hole in its armor is near its power systems.
The cruiser lacks a hangar bay, and mainly relies on other ships to provide TIE Starfighter support, although its external racks can support up to four TIE Fighters. It can also dock a shuttle.
